My Fiery Style Experience @ SM Fairview

Living in the North of Quezon City never been this good when one of the best resto that offers “Best Nachos in Town” opens its branch at SM Fairview last December 15, 2019.

Luckily I was invited and able to try the best of the best on their menu.

Location?

It was located at Upper Ground Floor of the newly opened Parkway of SM Fairview.

Place?

It has Mexican inspired resto and ones you enter the place you will be amazed by their staffs on their lovely uniforms that will greet you “Hola” that will boost more your dining experience on Fiery Style Resto. They also have a live band every Friday that will add up more spice while enjoying your food.

Food?

It was a super festive dinner that we had. We really enjoyed all the food that was served that night. The foods that we tried are the following:

Galleon of Bones – placed on a ship platter with BBQ pork ribs, chicken wings, and meaty pork hammer, beef ribs served with chips or choice of fiery rice, coleslaw & Texan-style BBQ sauce that cost Php 1578.00

Lord of the Wings – consists of 24 pieces of chicken wings topped with different flavors. Php 1198.00

👉hot hot hot sauce & jalapeños

👉Nacho cheese sauce & bacon

👉Texan style BBQ

Steak ala Familia – grilled Rump steak cooked tender and perfectly. Php 1198.00

Chili Beef Quesadilla- authentic Mexican with an adequate amount of cheese and beef. Php 398.00

Fiery Nachos – chips loaded with toppings like guacamole, salsa, beans, olives, jalapeños, Mexican chili beef, BBQ pulled pork or beef brisket drizzled with cheese sauce. Php 388

We also enjoyed our drinks like mojito and margarita plus the mouthwatering New York Cheesecake as our dessert.

Affordability?

It’s a bit pricey but the servings are good for sharing so it’s still perfect for family or barkada celebrations. The place was also cozy and the foods are super yummy that’s why it was still worth it with the price.

What are my top picks?

I enjoyed everything but my favorites are the chicken wings, beef ribs and of course the Fiery Nachos.

Overall, I really recommend the Fiery Style Resto because:

✔️the place was cozy and has chill vibes because they also have live band every Friday.

✔️foods are superb!! I love everything the served as well as their drinks that are perfect after a long day. They also have ladies night every Thursday that all girls like me will enjoy.

✔️location is perfect especially for us from North to avoid traffics and long rides.

✔️Great customer service because of great staffs especially on SM Fairview branch

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Make sure to check them out and experience dining on Fiery Style Resto because it was really a must try and worth it. They are open from 10am to 9pm Monday to Thursday and 10am to 10pm every Friday to Sunday.

My Alopecia Story: Alopecia Awareness by Regroe

Hello Loves!

I am going to share with you about a topic that was not commonly discussed since people thought it’s just normal that happens when we are getting older, stress or because of medicines that we intake. People don’t take it seriously honestly unless they notice it was severe and they can already see patches on their scalp. I am talking about the severe hair loss or known as Alopecia and I also experience this. Hair loss is inevitable for both men and women. It is a scary experience no matter what is the cause of it. Whether it is because of heredity, nutritional, hormonal, or simply just stress, we can all agree that no one wants to lose his or her hair.

I am working on a normal day job since 2012 and also, I am a part-time content creator. I have a very busy schedule at work and of course, sometimes I cannot avoid having personal problems that will be additional thinking that cause stress and depression. It was 2015 when I start to notice that I’m having a hair loss and at first, I thought it was normal. I also still continue to dye my hair, do salon treatments and use different shampoo since I thought there’s nothing wrong.

One day I just notice that while I’m taking a bath and shampooing my hair, there’s a spot on my scalp that has no hair about a size of 25 centavos coin and that time, I am alarm so I inform my mom about it. I am worrying when this happens because hair is our crowning glory and I cannot afford to lose it. My self-esteem and confidence lessen because of this and I don’t know what I will do and feel about it. I am lucky I have my family and close friends when I feel so down who always cheers me up and help me to be positive that everything will be fine.  Since my mom believes on herbal medicines, we tried a lot of medicinal plants and visit some doctors of the barrio. I notice that it didn’t do any changes and my hair still falls out.

I immediately told to my mom that the medicinal plant didn’t work so we decide to visit a Dermatologist. We visit the clinic and they told me after the check-up that I am suffering with Alopecia Areata.

What is Alopecia Areata?

It is a medical condition where hair falls out in round patches. It happens even on healthy people and it is not contagious.

Signs and Symptoms:

• Patchy hair loss
• Widespread hair-loss
• Nail Problems

What causes the Alopecia Areata?

People can have this type of hair loss at any age and it often begins in childhood. Some patients with Alopecia Areata have a family member who also has the disease.

People with Alopecia Areata have higher risk for another autoimmune disease such as thyroid disease or vitiligo, asthma, allergies, mainly atopic dermatitis and hay fever

When it was discussed by the dermatologist, we found out that I am experiencing this because it was on our genes and stress also just trigger it.

What is the treatment?

 I was given a corticosteroids, it was a shot that was given to me every 3 weeks. I was also given a prescription which is minoxidil to help my hair grow faster that I am using until now because there is no cure for Alopecia Areata since hair will re-grow on its own but possibility it will fall out again and repeat its cycle.

I am using until now the Regroe since I am still suffering from hair loss and I think Regroe will be my forever partner already.

What is Minoxidil Regroe?

Regroe is a topical regrowth treatment that stimulates hair growth from traumatized hair follicle, its main ingredient is Minoxidil which is the only approved and proven substance that can grow back hair. Walis Hair NO MORE!?

I have tried a lot of hair masks before, some works but pricey and some are affordable but didn’t work for me. I’ve been loving hair care products since my hair really needs it. My hair was really damaged because of excessive hair coloring, it became dry, brazzy and lifeless.

I found this page on Instagram that offers hair mayonnaise and I was really curious about it. When I saw it, I was like “what mayonnaise? what’s the scent?”, I am glad that they sent me the product to try and I have been using this already for almost a month. I am going to share with you my experience using Hair Mayonnaise by BCE.

I started to use the hair mayonnaise last Sept 18, 2019. The Hair Mayonnaise is an extreme repair mask made from hydrolyzed egg protein and ActivHydrozyl that reconstructs dry and over-processed hair.

ActivHydrozyl is a multiple moisture compound element that reconstructs, repairs & renews damaged strands.

Claims:

✔️rejuvenates

✔️increases shine

✔️renew dry and overprocessed hair

How I used it?

There are 2 ways how I use hair mayonnaise.

1. Use it as a conditioner. After shampooing the hair use it as a conditioner. Leave it at least 2 mins and rinse.

2. Use it as a hair mask. After shampooing towel dry hair and put the hair mayonnaise. Leave it for 15-20mins and rinse.

The smell?

I thought it will smell like mayo but I was wrong. The smell was so nice like flower scent and it really leaves my hair smells fresh all day.

My thoughts?

I was very amazed with the BCE Hair Mayonnaise because it really works for me and for just a month it already does wonders. My hair was back to life, not totally since I’m just using it for a month but it already reduced the brazziness and dryness of my hair. I can definitely recommend this to all the girls who have damaged hair because it is really a worth it product and really works.

 

I don’t use hair iron because it can damage my hair more, that’s why I am so amazed when it became smooth and soft after a month.

SILENT SANCTUARY x BRISOM: Just Chilling

Silent Sanctuary and Brisom don’t believe in boxes and labels. Silent Sanctuary has a rock sound but they have a violinist to add the texture of a classical string section to their band. Brisom combines the influence of world music with synth sounds and an indie pop music flavor. This common point of view makes it easy for them to just hang out, to just be themselves. When they get together, the laughter comes easily. Work flows because they don’t see themselves as working.

“We found out that they also wanted to add some strings to their sound,” Raymund “Sarkie” Sarangay, vocalist and guitarist of Silent Sanctuary revealed. “And we only found that out when we sat down for the collab in Coke Studio. Somehow, nag volt in kami.”

Brian Sombero, vocalist of Brisom explains, “Friends na kami. Even before this project, we already knew each other. Of course, we would go to each other’s gigs and we knew each other’s music. We would hang out. But this time, we got to see another side of them. They’re super fun, funny but also competitive! “

A love of an easygoing hangout did connect them, but they discovered that creativity can take many paths. Brian reveals, “We have a very different way of songwriting. For us, we start with the intro. That’s how we build upon a song. It’s make or break for us. Without it, we can’t make a good song. But for Sarkie, he likes to start with the chorus and the melody. So we learned that it’s also good to try other ways of songwriting; it’s good to get out of your comfort zone.”

Both bands also saw the big picture; they all wanted to create a song that was positive, uplifting and as simple as Sarkie says, “masarap pang road trip.”

Kim Mirandilla-Ng, the violinist of Silent Sanctuary, says, “We want young people to know that even if it’s good to be aware of the trends; it’s also OK to go against the tide to find yourself.”

Brian sees it simply as honesty. “It’s good that kids nowadays know about issues, about being woke. But for us, with our music and lyrics, we’re just keeping it real.”

Keeping it real still surprised both bands.

“We didn’t expect that it would get so emotional,” Brian admits.

“At first, you think it’s just about hanging out, and then you realize everything you’ve been through, and then it gets very emotional,” Jeffrey Castro, the drummer for Brisom, says.
